Vintage & Vineyard
The 2003 vintage in Napa Valley was remarkably consistent. Flowering occurred normally in mid-May, and cool-to-mild temperatures prevailed throughout the growing season, with just a few heat spikes. We harvested the Muscat grapes in the Solari Vineyard in Calistoga late in the season at 30 0 Brix, to facilitate production of this delicious, late-harvest wine.

Winemaking
The grapes were fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks at cold temperature to retain as much of the Muscat grape’s exotic fragrance as possible. |

Winemaker’s Notes
We have produced Moscato d'Andrea for over 20 years. Our 2003, consistent with previous vintages, offers beautifully fragrant, floral aromas and delicately sweet flavors of apricot, pear and citrus fruit, balanced by a crisp, refreshing finish.
